Long Island has everything. Between the beautiful beaches, short train rides to New York City, wineries, farms and more, being bored here is impossible because there is always something going on. Seriously, this is the best place to live. It is so unfortunate that we now see so many Long Islanders struggling to pay the bills because many people are being forced to move away from the island due to their financial problems. Obviously, we need to focus on Long island development.
Build a Better Burb is an organization that is looking to rebuild Long Island downtown areas and create business opportunities for many people. They know how important having a sense of community is and they are working hard to create that for generations to come.
Build a better Burb is focusing on creating affordable housing. They see the large number of young people leaving the island all the time and are concerned that new generations will not be able to afford living here. It is sad to see people who have spent their whole lives here, being forced to leave a place that they love so much.
The biggest project of Build a Better Burb is their focus on the downtown areas of Long Island. They want to create a place where people can meet for a cup of coffee or just relax by catching up on their favorite book, all while feeling safe and at home in their community. Creating a place of clean streets and beautiful store front windows will make a place where people will love to go to spend to.
These projects will create so many jobs for people who have been out of work for a while, helping them pay the bills. Build a Better Burb is dedicated to making LI even better than before. I am so glad to call a place like this home.
