Inspirational Stories From Women 60 And Over

Women can be inspirational at any time in life whether as a young girl in childhood, a middle aged woman going through peri-menopause or menopause or, as a senior citizen. In fact, there are numerous inspirational stories from women 60 and over. In most cases, these individuals are speakers, journalists and well known figures.

In most cases, the women are well known figures, journalists and speakers whom have shared different stories through various publications. In each case, it is clear that the individual only succeeded due to a strong vision along with a passion and drive to get things done. Otherwise, most would have never succeeded at publishing the books, articles and blog posts which have since empowered others of the same age range and generation.

In all cases, these individuals have offered some type of advice or information beneficial to baby boomers. In fact, some have made such an impact, there are now multiple bloggers discussing the work. Whereas, individuals encountering these stories may want to obtain and read these works as a method of education and empowerment. For, eventually all women will be in one of these age groups at some point in the future.

One good example of a woman which has inspired others is that of Kerry Hannon, the author of "Great Jobs Over 50, " and expert on issues such as finance and career to women still saving and working later in life. Whereas, those whom have read the book find the author down to earth with a strong sense of compassion for others. As such, anyone desiring to become self-employed, start a business or locate a full or part-time job after the age of 60 may want to connect with Ms. Hannon, while also reading current and future publications by the author.

In addition to books, there are also magazine articles which can be of assistance to those in mid-later life. One of these publications, Midlife Boulevard is an online publication which focuses on different aspects of those over 40. The MeSharon Greenthal, is extremely passionate when it comes to issues experienced by those of middle age.

Other authors like Barbara Hanna Grufferman have authored books which relate to overall health and well being versus matters of careers, love and finance. For, Prill has promoted, written about and interviewed a number of ordinary women whom have achieved extraordinary success. In fact, in the book "Defying Gravity, " the author celebrates seniors and others whom eventually found success after age 50 or 60.
