You might find it weird (or you may not), but there are some dogs who like hamburgers. Well, you may find it obvious they like hamburgers because they're primarily carnivores and they were bred to eat things that are raw. But there are some dogs who really like it to the point that just the sight of a hamburger will make them go crazy.
Why do I love giving my dog meat? Is it something like a religious belief that I should make him eat meat all the time? Not exactly. It all began when I got my dog. The dog (a Siberian husky) was adopted from a dog pound. I remember the supervisor who gave him to me told me that the Husky had a habit of not eating anything. The Husky had no appetite for the dog food they served. I can tell this habit put a bit of unhealthiness into the Husky; he looked thin, he looked beat and he looked stressed. I still took the Husky in because I had that compassion to take care of this Husky back to health. When I got him, I went straight away to the pet store to buy dog food. When I got home, I immediately got a bowl, poured the dog food into it and let my new Husky eat. And just like what the supervisor said, Husky didn't have the appetite. This went on for days.
After days of no success, I finally gave up. There was no away this Husky was going to eat even a single pellet. I was stressed from this. To relieve myself, I went to my kitchen to make some sandwich. I took out a slice of ham, cheese and lettuce. Then out of nowhere, the Husky came mingling around the kitchen, sniffing. I was perplexed by the Husky's action but I still continued with the sandwich making. Then all of a sudden, the Husky went near me and started to paw on my ankle. I stopped and said to him, "Uhhh what do you want dog?"
If you're going to feed a dog patties, make sure they're made with all-natural ingredients. Dogs can't absorb preservatives very well and who knows what those ingredients will do the dog? You may not know it but there are companies who make patties made specifically with the dog in mind. The ingredients are the things dogs need in their diet. If you have any patties like that, then by all means give them to your dog.

The next time you're about to give your dog a hamburger, remember if the hamburger is good or not. If it's good, you can go for it. If not, let yourself have a burger.
