Importance Of Sustainable Green Energy In Africa

By Christa Jarvis

Energy is important in both domestic and industrial use in any given country. Rise in technology has seen to most equipment used in our day today aspects of production to require power to function. In most African countries, there is unreliable production of power to run, and such case are surely doomed to fail and can be rated as a failed state. To curb this challenge, then sustainable green energy in Africa is being adopted by most African nations.

Power resources are uninhabited in most African countries due to inadequate technical know-how to finances. In some cases, those potential areas utilized still do not meet demand of citizens in terms of consumption and provision of services. To solve this, then generation of adequate power is advised and this will see rise to innovation and thus improvement to a stable economy.

Proper planning by the government leaders is a key step to see Africa shine in economy in global coverage. Most west and east countries face out on African states and its high time a global concern and orientation on importance of going green is sensitive if the world is to be saved. It tends to provide a clean source of power that reduces release of harmful gases and pollution of the ozone layer. Thus specialists should collaborate with governments to see an end to this plague.

Invention is escalating in technological progress, and this has seen countries like South Africa which invested earlier on the same provide cheap energy hence improved economy and provision of services. Citizens in this nation enjoy from such early reserves making it to be the most industrialized country in Africa.

Sun is a naturalistic source of power that powers the solar panels to give us power. Solar panels come from single household use to industrial use in lightning and running light power consumption machines. It is friendly to environment and is renewable since it depends on climatic conditions and to note is that harvested power is stored and can be used during the night or unsupportive climatic conditions.

Climatic conditions in Africa are stable and mostly sunny hence can support the implementation of this project. This should be taken as an advantage in production of power for domestic and industrial use. In most cases, usage in huge requirements is one of the disadvantageous points of it but still on light usage like domestic and lightning in street lights to factory light usage is advantaged.

In comparison to coal usage and geothermal, its implementation and maintenance is cheap and environmental friendly. Coal and geothermal is faced with environment hazards such as greenhouse effect that is associated with global warming thus African nations can help save the world environment if such projects are supported thus future survival on the earth can be guaranteed.

Inadequate power supply is a threat to trade and industry growth. On countries with dire necessity to see development in terms of infrastructure and services to citizens, advice is to go green thus a step to future economical upsurge of any nation. Constructive productions and innovations of citizens in any given nation will automatically lead to economic independence and same point having safe and clean energy at their disposal.
