An Overview Of The Failure To Launch Syndrome

By Edward Green

Life in the childhood stages is fun, but the kids come to realize this after they are grown and cannot afford to sleep for half a day or play from morning to evening. Transitioning to adulthood is the toughest thing in the life of any individual. Many young men and women are facing internal crisis trying to gain balance in the world filled with responsibilities; hence, suffering from failure to launch syndrome.

The worst kind of suffering is internal, because no one will see the pain. If living in the modern societies, you are probably aware of the exaggeration about what a good life entails and those who are unable to reach the societal standards end up in depression. There is a common tendency that graduates should secure jobs with handsome pays a short while after finishing their studies and later start building empires, and those who struggle to get the jobs become victims of the syndrome.

Adulthood is about fulfilling multiple responsibilities every day and there is no excuse for failure. The people around you will focus more on the disasters and to intake the harsh words gracefully, you need a strong heart. Many will pull you down from all dimensions and giving in to the pull is the worst kind of injustice you can do to yourself. Seek knowledge on how you can boost your levels of confidence and the strength will impact on your immunity to external talks.

Fear is destructive as it makes you uncertain of your energy and will focus more on the past failures than achievements. The ability to act begins when you believe in yourself and control the predominating emotion. Allow yourself to think about failing as an ordinary occurrence and you will subconsciously overcome the syndrome.

There are certain indicators of this mental condition and you should be on the lookout for such behavior as the kids are developing. The common are pushing roles to others, playing the blame game, and being hesitant in their actions. In other instances, some may act inappropriately so they can be excluded from the duties.

The exposure to social media contributes greatly to the fear. Internet users can access multiple sources of information from all corners of the world; thus, instilling more fear than knowledge. Beyond this, broadcasting centers concentrate more on the failures of adulthood than the accomplishments; thus, adding to the phobia.

Parents are role models to their children, but they can similarly be the worst enemies. It is essential that you teach the youngsters to be answerable for their actions rather than trying to cover the deeds. If they grow without hints about the nature of adulthood, a real encounter will paralyze them and before they know that time is running out some might give up on their kids.

There are many community dwellers that live with the delusion that they are extraordinary beings and should therefore not encounter pain. Pushing the ideas away is a form of failure; thus, you should be bold enough to accept that all must go through fire so they can solidify. The belief helps you to move despite the heavy load and laugh instead of quitting after failing in your deeds.
