Those people that provide employment the so-called employers have a way of hiring employees; they choose those who are of sound mind since they require minimal supervision. For the mentally challenged they are not given a chance to work since they are believed to bring more shortcomings in the business. High supervision is required when working to this people and the environment is not fit since they can be a security threat to other employees.
There is need to come up with group homes for these people whose minds are impaired, these helps the people who are around them happy since those who were violent are able to be swept up from the streets. They deserve special care and attention just like any other ordinary person. These also require the basic commodities including food, air and water in order to survive.
When they are placed in homes, they are able to get skills to make things out of their hands in order to earn a living. In these homes carpentry, sewing and other skills are equipped to the mentally impaired hence become useful people who builds the society and so do the economy. The materials they do make are later sold out hence bringing more funds to help in running and management of these homes.
In conclusion we ought to be good members of the society by doing giving a helping hand to those who are in need. When we help the mentally disabled we shape their destiny in a way that is considered good by God. We should help without having in mind that the person you help will give a thanks in other way, the axe forgets but the tree recalls so goes the African idiom.
